Dundas West Fest

Get ready for the best fest on Dundas West! Find more information and how you can be involved at: http://dundaswestfest.ca/

One of the city’s coolest neighbourhood street festival is now two days long!

Spanning 12 city blocks from Dundas Street West to Ossington Street over to Landsdowne Avenue, the annual Dundas West Festival invites Toronto to become immersed in the neighbourhood’s unique creative local flavor. Whether you participate in a samba lesson, sample delicious local food from around the world, witness the world’s largest brass band ever, or join the kids on the Instagram Scavenger Hunt, this annual community celebration offers something for everyone.

Dundas West Fest kicks off on June 1st of over 40 licensed patios, more than 200 unique local vendors, and music, and continues on June 2nd with food, games, vendors, arts, music, and dance. Poetry readings, yoga classes, and visual art exhibits are also part of the mix, as well as dance workshops (salsa, samba, creole), painting, and crafts. Street food will be inspired by the cuisines of Brazil, Colombia and New Orleans, in addition to the traditional Portuguese fare — grilled meats, sardines and other fish — that reflects the heritage of the area.

Festival Hours:
Friday, June 1, 2018 – 6:00 p.m. to 1.00 a.m.
Saturday, June 2, 2018 – 10 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
