The BIG on Bloor Festival of Arts & Culture invites you to celebrate, participate and discover! The weekend of July 22 & 23, Bloor Street between Dufferin and Lansdowne will be transformed by more than 100 artists and over 100 vendors. The Festival turns 10 this year and is marking this milestone with an expanded program that includes a special green lawn takeover at the Celebrate Here Main Stage, live music with exceptional musicians, performances, murals, a new outdoor art fair, FIGMENT Toronto, and offsite projects including the launch of BIG X / Fixie Fest, happening just west of Lansdowne, and site-specific installations along the West Toronto Railpath. Festival favourites also return. PULP: Reclaimed Materials Art and Design will bring milk crates, an obstacle course, and paper crown making hosted by the Design Exchange for Card-Yard, How We Live in Cities revives their ecology hub encouraging garden-making, and JOUEZ: Participatory/Performance Art Projects showcases an incredible line-up of artists.
